About the event
The Brown County Touch-A-Truck event is a free, hands-on event that provides kids with the opportunity to see, touch and explore their favorite big trucks, heavy equipment and emergency vehicles as well as interact with community support leaders including police officers, firemen, construction workers and more! Bring the entire family to get up close with these vehicles, learn about what they do, how they work and how they benefit our community!
We suggest that you bring ear protection for babies and children to protect their ears from noise and to prevent them from becoming startled by the sudden and unexpected sounds of horns and sirens. We have a "quiet hour" from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. where no horns are allowed. Don’t forget sunscreen and bring water bottles to help your family stay cool and hydrated in the heat.
All donations benefit Brown County Weekend Backpacks, a community-led, totally-volunteer program whose goal is keeping hungry children fed with nutritious food all weekend long.
Parent supervision is required and cameras are highly recommended.
